For first-timerThe difference between hair dyes
for gray and black hair
There is a difference between two types of coloring products which cover gray put an emphasis on covering gray hair while fashion color products put an emphasis on brightening darker hair and having fun with a variety of colors.
It is difficult to recolor dark colored hair with a brighter color
soon after it has been colored too dark.
Bleach breaks down the melanin and not the dye, so it is impossible to brighten the hair if it was colored with a darker color. The bleach includes an accelerator (decolorant) which can break down the dye, however it is difficult to brighten the hair evenly. Please consult a hairdresser if you would like to recolor your hair with a brighter color immediately
Derived from vegetables such as Henna. It is made by dissolving henna leaves or dried powdered herbs with water. Henna colors hair orange. The color lasting is around 3 to 4 weeks. In addition, there is chemical henna which includes a synthetic dye to strengthen the coloring effect and a skin allergy test is necessary for these products.
Progressive hair color is a metallic hair color. Color is developed by the product penetrating into the hair and combining with sulfur components in the hair. One application does not color the hair dark, and the hair is colored gradually over the applications. The color lasting is around 1 to 4 weeks depending on how dark the hair was at the time of application.
